Through nationally available education and training programs, the organization equips healthcare professionals, community leaders, and individuals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize overdose risk, respond effectively, and support people impacted by the disease of addiction. Rooted in decades of frontline experience, these programs provide compassionate, evidence-based education that helps communities better understand substance use disorder as a chronic, treatable health condition. Overdose Lifeline’s education extends beyond online courses to include in-person training, train-the-trainer programs, and community-based learning opportunities. By combining grassroots outreach with practical education, Overdose Lifeline empowers communities across the country with the tools and confidence needed to recognize risk, intervene early, prevent overdose, and save lives.
